You Should Meet Your Photographer FIRST | Des Moines Newborn Photography

Over the years I have discovered that the best photoshoots are the ones in which clients and I have a comfortable working relationship.

We are familiar with each other and the session has a clear focus and direction.

I haven't always insisted on meeting clients prior to our portrait experience together - most clients based on word of mouth reviews or faith simply book me without meeting. I haven't always insisted on clients coming into the studio to see the final portraits in person either.

I think failing to do both does a great disservice to both client and photographer.

... WHY would anyone commission, pay for, a portrait session without first meeting the Photographer?

Think about that for a moment.

Before you reserve a portrait session wouldn't you want to meet the photographer - make sure their style of work really is what you are seeking - make sure their personality will be right for your family?

Before you entrust the safety of your newborn and the once in a lifetime capture of their portrait wouldn't you want to see for yourself that the photographer had a safe studio, a legal business status, and displayed confidence and competence in their work and art?

I would too!

I'm proud that Brandy Goldenberg Photography is one of a handful of studios in the local market that provides a full service portrait experience in a professional studio with a legal business structure.

And all of our clients now experience three parts to their session: Design Consultation, Session, and Reveal.

All portrait sessions include a complimentary Design Consultation.

It won't take much of your time but it will provide us the opportunity to meet, design your portrait session together, and allows you to see and touch our artwork in person. All before you invest.

Please Touch! Please open our albums, touch our wall art, and truly see the difference between a professional and a hobbyist/amateur photographer.

If you decide to commission a portrait experience with Brandy Goldenberg Photography then your session will be designed and we will be ready to carry out the vision on your reserved portrait day.

A couple of weeks after your portrait session you'll come to the studio and relax in front of our big screen. Portraits will be displayed for you and we will then select your favorites and how they will be displayed: album, wall art and digitals. If you don't love a photo - you don't have to buy it.

I hope to meet you soon!
