BGP Collages

Working on a template page to help clients choose a base style for creating their own templates with BGP. 

I absolutely love putting collages on canvas and metal {prints are great too}. One thing to be cautious of is ... putting too many beautiful images on one template. One of the beautiful images by itself on a large canvas {I define large as a 16x20 or greater} WILL HAVE MORE IMPACT visually than 4 beautiful images on the same canvas size. When it comes to art, bigger is better. Those 4 images have to compete for space and eye attention compared to one stunning image. 

On my own family photo walls, I personally like to have one large 16x20 or 20x30 single horizontal image as the focal point and then pair that with some 10x20 vertical and horizontal images or additional collage 16x20 and smaller size. I also love mixing up the medium of having metal, canvas, and framed. 

Below is a standard living room, you can see the sizing isn't large based on the size of the books on the end table and coffee table. In our minds, we think that 11x14 is large or even a 16x20 but on a wall - they can easily be lost.
